First production shots from RSC's beautiful new stage adaptation of My Neighbour Totoro.
No photos of the forest spirits, presumably magical spirits just can't be photographed. It really is incredibly magical seeing them in person though - and the Barbican have just announced that they are releasing some £25 tickets each morning of the run. More photos and information about the show here. I recently had a wonderful experience helping for a week with the puppet making for the RSC's stage adaptation of My Neighbour Totoro.
It's going to be incredible! The very talented Julia Darrouy is taking her geodesic shadow dome to Edinburgh from 22nd - 28th August.
Julia will be performing her shadow puppetry storytelling piece 'In Praise of Shadows' at the Old Royal High. You can find out more details and book tickets here. A portable structure for the one-on-one performance Is It You? by Matthew Keys.
