The robot puppet I made for this year's Edinburgh Mini Maker Faire is featured in their new film!
The Maker Faire was a really great day out for the robot, there was an excellent turnout, lots of audience interaction and a lovely atmosphere.
If you missed it, you can take a look back through this blog to see the full build process.
I have been drawing Bottoms all day. I had to draw quite a lot of Bottoms before I came up with the ideal Bottom for my requirements. The other Bottoms were too big, too hairy or too scary. It feels like this Bottom is just right.
Testing out new structure designs with Melanie Kloetzel for her performance Room. Plans are to scale-up the original solo piece and make a much larger outdoor installation of rooms. Each structure will contain a different performer. These rooms are adaptable, they will change shape to fit the environment and the needs of the performers. They are simple to put together but there seems to be a huge variety of possibilities in how they turn out.
